ClassDojo is our main platform for sharing updates with families. Staff use it to celebrate children’s achievements, share class news and keep parents informed about events, reminders and learning in school.

The messaging feature is used in EYFS and KS1, as well as by our Music teacher, to support communication with parents of younger children.

In Key Stage 2, parents and carers should contact staff through the school office email admin@mapperleyplains.notts.sch.uk or speak with teachers at the start or end of the day.

A few helpful reminders to keep communication clear and supportive:

• Messages should focus on your child’s learning or wellbeing.
• Teachers will usually respond within 48 hours during school days.
• Urgent matters should always go through the school office.
• Please keep communication respectful and avoid sharing information about other children.
