Requesting personal information

A request for access to personal information is known as a Subject Access Request. Requests should be made in writing and sent to:

The optional Subject Access Request form may help you describe the information you require. The school will normally respond within one month.

Parents of children attending a maintained school also have a separate right to request access to their child’s educational record. Written requests will be dealt with within 15 school days.

Data protection concerns and breaches

• believe information has been lost, disclosed incorrectly or accessed without permission

• wish to make a data protection complaint

Urgent suspected personal data breaches should be reported immediately.
